SOLAR D HAVE PARTNERED WITH BANGKOK UNIVERSITY TO INSTALL SOLAR ROOFTOP SYSTEMS
On 9 June, Solar D signed an agreement with Bangkok University, with the intention of installing solar roof systems at the university’s premises. They will also be installing a Tesla Powerwall to support the education of energy at the university. The entire project is worth over THB 100 million, and Solar D and Bangkok University hope this collaboration will promote sustainable and efficient energy usage.

SHANTI BHUMI FOUNDATION CALLS FOR DONATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW CREMATORIUM
The Shanti Bhumi Foundation is currently raising funds to build a new crematorium for the community. As the Indian community grows in Thailand, the Shanti Bhumi Foundation has continuously taken the lead over the years in meeting the needs of the community. The new crematorium is set to be a modern and spacious building, located in Phutthamonthon Sai 1 in Taling Chan. The Foundation is taking any amount of donations and calling for contributions. VIKRAM ARUNAGIRI, FOUNDER OF GULPBKK, OPENS ALL-NEW SPEAKEASY BAR, THE GREEN DOOR BKK
The bar offers creative mixology, high-end spirits, and recreates vintage cocktails from the prohibition era. The name “The Green Door” represents the hidden nature of speakeasies and reflects the current environment in Thailand where alcohol advertisement is forbidden. The venue includes a retail shop, indoor and outdoor areas, a snack kitchen, and a full-fledged bar. The business supports the local community by offering Thai-produced charcuterie and cheeses. Cocktails are presented in visually appealing ways and classic cocktails can be ordered upon request. Stephen Pinto, the General Manager and Head Mixologist, played a key role in developing the concept and has extensive experience in the beverage industry.

JASPAL HAS APPLIED TO BE LISTED ON THE STOCK EXCHANGE OF THAILAND
Thai-Indian owned clothing company Jaspal plans to go public on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) to raise funds for expanding its fashion and business ventures. The company aims to offer a maximum of 156 million shares through an initial public offering (IPO), accounting for 26 percent of Jaspal’s paid-up capital. Kasikorn Securities (KS) will serve as the financial advisor for the IPO. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the SET are currently reviewing Jaspal’s listing application and draft prospectus.
