Masala is proud to present an official Masala music video for our new track, "Extra Masala."This original Masala song celebrates the rich heritage, vibrant energy, and deep roots of Indians in Thailand.

For nearly two decades, Masala has been honoured to serve as the voice of Thailand’s Thai-Indian community — a platform dedicated to celebrating identity, preserving heritage, and building meaningful connections between cultures.

Throughout this journey, we have had the privilege of sharing the stories of those who came before us: pioneers who chose Thailand as their home and helped shape the foundations of the community we know today. We have chronicled the achievements of entrepreneurs, professionals, and changemakers whose contributions continue to strengthen Thailand’s social, cultural, and economic landscape.

Most importantly, we have sought to tell stories that inspire future generations to embrace both where they come from and where they belong.

This music video is a tribute to that remarkable journey.

It is a celebration of a community that has successfully preserved its traditions while wholeheartedly embracing Thailand as home. A community that has enriched the Kingdom through its enterprise, creativity, and cultural contributions, while remaining deeply connected to its roots and values.

Through an original song, original choreography by Ishaani Budhraja (@ishaani.dances), and the enthusiastic participation of the Masala team, we wanted to create something that captures the pride, resilience, diversity, and spirit of the Thai-Indian community. More than a performance, it is a reflection of who we are — a community that stands proudly between two rich cultures, drawing strength from both.

At its heart, this project is about belonging. It is about celebrating the unique harmony of being both Thai and Indian, and recognising the shared experiences, aspirations, and values that unite us all.
