NEW VEGAN FOODS

Wicked Kitchen, a plant-based food brand from the UK, has just launched their products in Thailand. You can now buy their Wicked kitchen bangin biryani beyond meat (THB 159) or Wicked kitchen cowboy chilli beyond meat (THB 159) at Tops Thailand or Alt.Eatery. They also sell a range of vegan desserts, ice cream flavours, and pizzas at affordable prices, making it an easy meal to have after a long tiring day of work. Wicked Kitchen was founded by two brothers, Derek and Chad Sarno who launched their products in January 2018 with the mission of helping people eat a more plantbased diet. They have since grown internationally, in several countries worldwide.

NEW INDIAN RESTAURANT

An exciting new Indian restaurant hailing from the streets of Mumbai, Khao Piyo has landed in Bangkok. It’s become a popular choice among locals as their menu is wide-ranging and includes something for every type of eater. They serve contemporary Indian and international cuisine, with street classics such as chaat and Kathi rolls, or you can opt for Mexican or Italian dishes too. A no-fuss eatery, it’s ideal for families or large groups with non-veg, veg and Jain options, and is conveniently located on Sukhumvit Soi 22, an accessible location for Thai-Indians who live around the area. NEW PAYMENT METHOD

Android users rejoice! Google Wallet has launched their services in Thailand, making it one of the 57 countries that are currently able to make use of the app. With the secure digital wallet, users are able to add their credit cards and make contactless payments by tapping your phone or watch. Currently, only users with a credit card from Bangkok Bank and Krungthai Bank can make payments, but more banks are sure to be added to the list. In addition to making payments, Google Wallet can also store boarding passes, OneSiam
loyalty cards, and tickets from Thaiticketmajor.

NEW PET-FRIENDLY POP-UP BAR

Suwincha ‘Chacha’ Singsuwan, renowned for her mixology across some of the best bars in Bangkok including Rabbit Hole, Crimson Room and Bar Marco, has opened a pet-friendly pop-up bar named after herself. Nestled next to Black Cabin Bar and Dr. Dope, she hopes the bar will be a welcome addition to Bangkok’s pet-friendly spaces and will allow pet owners the opportunity to sit back, relax and spend some time around fellow pet parents. She plans to offer a small signature cocktail menu that will change twice a month along with more classic cocktails and shots. The first signature cocktail menu included unique concoctions like Strawberry croissant, featuring a croissant sake. The bar welcomed their first guests on November 18th and will be available to visit until February 2023, and will be open on Tuesdays to Saturdays, from 6pm until late.
