Cloud I Bangkok is a cloud kitchen specialising in an array of wraps, burgers, grill items, curries, biryanis, rice and breads, and sweet treats crafted from premium ingredients (pictured above). Tempting options include the Smoked butter chicken wrap (THB 330), which is crafted using a Malabar parantha, crème fraiche, rocket leaves, straciatella cheese, pickled onions, and a unique achari pickle mayo. If you’re a fan of burgers, opt for the Herbal cumin lamb burger (THB 475) that features a homemade sesame brioche bun, cheddar, Maldon sea salt, Thai whiskey demi-glace, caramelised onions, jalapeños, and lettuce, topped with gochujang mayo (THB 475). If you prefer fusion fare, their BKK Pulao (THB 595) takes the classic rice dish and transforms it into a Thai-style kaffir lime shrimp pulao made from basmati rice, lemongrass, slow cooked shallots, and coconut milk. New Restaurant

The team behind one Michelin-starred establishment Methavalai Sorndaeng have opened a new restaurant called Baan Daeng, which sits in Chula’s Block 28 development. The former has been serving authentic Thai fare for over 60 years, fostering a loyal customer base. In contrast, their new restaurant takes their approach to cuisine and elevates it with the hope of drawing in diners who prefer a more contemporary dining experience. Regardless, many of their signature dishes are available at their new outpost, including the moreish Krathong thong 2 flavours (THB 180), crispy pastry cups filled with various ingredients; their smoky Seabass and coconut shoots in spicy and sour turmeric yellow curry (THB 280); the flavourful Acacia omelette in spicy tamarind soup with shrimps, and their Watermelon bites (THB 160), which comprise of refreshing cuts of seasoned watermelon.

New Café

Teammies Café, now open in Phra Khanong, is a new brunch spot that’s ideal for those who believe in the camera eating first. Bathed in pastel and neon colours, the café sits behind an electric green entrance and boasts bar-style seating, al fresco seating, and group tables. On the menu are an array of classic coffee drinks including hot and iced cappuccinos, lattes, and mochas. However, the café also offers several unique signature drinks such as the cold Oreo latte (THB 160) and the three-layered Mint espresso (THB 160). For those who prefer their refreshments clear of any caffeine, their iced Cream peachy soda (THB 140) and Pastel candy milk (THB 150) are recommended. Their fun approach to café favourites also spills over into their dessert menu, which includes delicious items such as the Nom yen brownie (THB 110), the Cereal croissant (THB 100), and Milk tea cupcake (THB 85).
