On the 7th of November, the India-Thai Chamber of Commerce (ITCC) and the Thai Sindhi Association (TSA) collaborated to host Dazzling Diwali, a spectacle of colour and jubilation, at the InterContinental Bangkok. The grand celebration took place inside the hotel’s Grand Ballroom, which was decorated with elegant décor and festive motifs, including a fun photo wall that guests could pose against when they arrived in their formal best.

Attendees came from across the city, mingling with old friends and meeting new acquaintances while enjoying the night’s festivities. Every year, the ITCC and TSA have hosted renowned Diwali celebrations, but they truly upped the ante with their 2020 bash. The occasion was bolstered by the efforts of individuals like ITCC President, Ravi Sehgal; TSA President Deepak Sajnani; ; ITCC Vice President, Somsong Sachaphimukh; and TSA Vice President, the late Kaushal Bhamuvani, whose selfless contributions to the community will forever be remembered, alongside other board members and directors.

The event kicked off with a round of nibbles and pick-me-ups before moving onto a lavish dinner. This was followed by a graceful Lord Ganesh and Goddess Lakshmi aarti to open the entertainment portion of the evening, and then a cavalcade of live performances featuring the talents of MCs Komal Sharma and Rajiv Sehgal; singer Rimi Nique; Shreya Sachdev and her dance troupe; Bollywood and belly dancers led by Ramona; and DJ Sajan and DJ Dev.

The event also saw an exciting raffle with top-tier prizes that kept guests on the edge of their seats as the winners were announced. Overall, the ITCC and TSA’s Dazzling Diwali was a superb testament to the Festival of Lights as guests had an unforgettable night filled with enchanting music, enthralling live performances, and first-rate food and drink.
