The long-awaited Masala Wedding Fair, Thailand’s largest and most popular Indian wedding exhibition, takes place today and tomorrow at the Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park. The two-day extravaganza is a one-stop-shop for the best that Thailand has to offer for your dream Indian wedding, featuring over 80 exhibitors spanning world-class venues, innovative and delicious catering options, couture Indian fashion and jewellery, plus much more. The event will also feature plenty of live entertainment, a fashion show, and free food and beverage samples for a weekend that you won’t soon forget.

Masala Wedding Fair

Mediterranean restaurant ALATi, which opened at the Siam Kempinski Hotel Last year to much acclaim, is launching their ‘Stories of Morocco’ gastronomic journey today until 30 November 2022. Curated by Executive Chef Carlo Valenziano, the set menu features classic dishes from various regions of Morocco, redesigned to evoke nostalgic memories from the chef’s own travels, spanning appetisers such as the famous Pastillo pastry to aromatic stews such as the Lahm tagine. The dishes are also available in à la carte form.

Price: THB 1,250++ per person for the three-course set menu

Root The Future, the organisers of Asia’s largest plant-based and sustainability festival, are back with another celebration rooted in saving the planet, this time in Chiang Mai. From today until tomorrow, the market will feature over 40+ plant-based and sustainable product vendors, comprising a variety of vegan dishes; to zero-waste products; eco-friendly crafts; and sustainable fashion, including Chiang Mai’s largest clothes swap in collaboration with Fashion Revolution Thailand. For visitors from other provinces, the organisers have teamed up with luxury vegan hotel Away Chiang Mai Thapae Hotel which will provide a
15 percent discount for market attendees if you quote “RTF15” upon booking.

Renowned Michelin- starred chef Gaggan Anand is back in Bangkok, and his chef’s table at the eponymous Gaggan Anand restaurant, which debuted at No. 5 in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2021 list, opens from today onwards. Reservations opened earlier in July, and this exclusive experience only seats 14 at a time. Having won many accolades for his unique take on progressive Indian cuisine, it’s sure that Chef Gaggan will bring his trademark innovation to this new menu.

Grammy Award-winning pop sensation Billie Eilish is bringing Happier Than Ever, The World Tour to Asia, which will mark the first live tour in the region for the celebrated artist. The tour will come to Thailand today, and will be held at Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani, with tickets starting at THB 2,040. One of the music industry’s biggest rising stars in recent years, Billie Eilish is known for global hits such as “Bad Guy”. Her album “Happier Than Ever,” which the tour is named after, debuted at #1 in charts worldwide and was called “heroically honest” by Rolling Stone.
