Today until the 15th, the self-proclaimed ‘world’s biggest book sale’ is back in Bangkok, this time for its Big Bad Wolf in the City edition. While this book lovers’ bonanza is usually held in Nonthaburi, this time it will be hosted in the heart of the city at The Market Bangkok at Ratchadamri, and will feature over a million English-language books from an array of categories. The sale will feature discounts up to 95 percent, so make sure to head on down if you’re looking for a novel way to spend your weekend.

VSK Presents is once more bringing another sensational Indian artist to town, this time PBN the Hitmaker, otherwise known as Panjabi by Nature, who will be performing live at Maggie Choo’s. This will be the launch of their brand-new series dedicated to bringing the hottest club shows for party people in Bangkok. A British-born singer, performer, and music producer, PBN the Hitmaker will be bringing chart-topping hits such as “Phatte Chuk Di” and “Bhangra Paundi.” If you’re looking to dance the night away to party anthems, early bird tickets are still available, and there will be limited tickets available at the door.

Today, Bangkok’s most well-known speakeasy, Havana Social, will be hosting a Guest Shift featuring Benjawan, also known as Air, from the renowned Kilik Social Club. She will be bringing her handcrafted cocktails and unique mixology flair to the bar-turned-late-night-club, so make sure to swing by between for some delicious tipples. On 12 August, the club will also be hosting their Mamacita Party for you to bring your mum to, featuring THB 200 cocktails specially curated for the occasion, and the hottest Latin beats by DJ Vadim as well as a live Latin band.
