Bangkok to Prayagraj - Thai-Indians at Maha Kumbh Mela 2025

A group of Thai-Indians from Bangkok recently embarked on a once-in-a-lifetime spiritual journey to the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, India. This historic event, held once every 144 years, is considered the holiest of all Hindu festivals, making it an unmissable pilgrimage for millions of devotees seeking spiritual awakening, salvation, and divine blessings.

What is Maha Kumbh Mela and Why is it a big deal?

The Maha Kumbh Mela is the world’s largest religious gathering, bringing together saints, sadhus, and seekers from across the globe. This sacred event occurs at the Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and mythical Saraswati rivers, where it is believed that taking a holy dip washes away sins and leads to moksha (liberation).
