New Brunch Spot

Atchara ‘Pla’ Burarak, the founder of iBerry Group, has teamed up with Chef Chalee Kader on their latest project, FRAN’S – Brunch & Greens. Tucked into Sathorn Soi 1, since opening their doors, FRAN’S has been fully booked, and for good reason. The European-style brasserie is serving brunch classics and breakfast staples, with a menu replete with tempting items such as Fran’s avocado breakfast (THB 490), Banana silver dollar pancakes (THB 280), and a range of pastas, sandwiches, salads and smoothie bowls. Order a coffee or one of their refreshing cold pressed juices to pair with your brunch, and end your meal on a sweet note with one of eight desserts that you can choose from. They are open from Tuesdays to Sundays from 8am-6pm. Make sure you book in advance!

New Wine Bar

When the clock strikes 6.30pm on Fridays and Saturdays, Smokey Cat Coffee Roaster in Sathorn will turn into Smokey Cat Wine Room, a relaxing wine bar for wine lovers to sample a variety of diff erent labels. All wines are selected by a certified sommelier, Volk-Chattawat Jensirivanich, who is also the founder of Volks. They aim to serve unconventional, natural and biodynamic wines from small producers around the world. The space is a great opportunity to sample a unique selection of international wines that may not be widely available, with labels from France, Italy, Spain, and Australia. Make sure to reserve if you plan on going.

New Café

Chef Chumpol Jangprai and Todd Piti Bhirom Bhakdi from R-Haan have welcomed a brand new dessert cafe, Waan Thai, which shares a lot and kitchen with the two-Michelin-starred R-Haan. Located in Thong Lo, the café elevates traditional Thai desserts using authentic flavours and modern cooking techniques. Make sure to dress up as you head to the charming and luxe space for their Waan Thai High Tea (starting at THB 612), which includes four desserts and four savoury bites, along with Singha Park’s tea collection from Chiang Rai. You can also indulge in a variety of à la carte local Thai treats like their unique Waan Thai mon thong durian cheese cake (THB 150). Their menu also includes classic appetisers like their Spicy pomelo salad Thai style (THB 290) and scrumptious main courses such as their Thai rice noodle with sweet coconut curry (THB450). New Plant-based Deli

Located near BTS station Ratchathewi, Green & Sunny Vegan Kitchen has opened a deli-style café and grocery store. Starting as a food delivery kitchen that offered frozen, ready-to-eat meals, their new space now allows you to purchase frozen, vegan, ready-meals; snacks; beauty products; and more. The menu itself has a range of coffee and non-caffeinated drinks, made with an oat milk base. They also serve a range of vegan Thai dishes like Green curry fried rice with crispy jackfruit (THB 135), baked goods, cheese, and ice cream.

New workshop
An art studio, Fickle Lifestyle, is now offering a fun splash-painting workshop. Text four of your friends and book an hour and a half session to throw some paint on a 60CM X 80CM canvas. Each person receives their own canvas and four paint colours of your choice, out of a total of 42. The workshop can accommodate up to five people at once. Whether you’re looking for a way to de-stress or you want a one-of-a-kind piece of art in your home, their splash painting workshop is a guaranteed fun day out. They are open daily with session timings at 10am, 12pm, 2pm, and 4pm for THB 1500 per canvas.
