Eat & drink

Torien Rooftop and Bar, Pattaya

Perched atop the Pattaya Marriott Resort and Spa, Torien Rooftop and Bar claims its place as Pattaya’s first and highest rooftop izakaya, bringing Japanese social dining to new heights.

Set across the 15th and 16th floors, the space moves from an intimate indoor dining room to an open-air deck with sweeping views over Jomtien Beach.

Downstairs, the menu leans modern and shareable, with chargrilled skewers, hand-cut sashimi, and elevated classics. Upstairs, the bar menu boasts a selection of cocktails, spanning from Japanese-inspired concoctions to the classics.

Solscaper, Bangkok

Set within One Bangkok, inside The Storeys on the ground floor, solscaper is a new addition to the city’s beverage scene.

The concept shifts easily from café by day to cocktails by night, offering a space that suits both quiet afternoons and livelier evenings. Warm and inviting, it leans into its role as a community spot, ideal for emails and casual meetings while the sun is up, then easing into a more social atmosphere as the night unfolds.

Stop by for a strong coffee or a varied tea selection while the sun is out, or return later for cocktails, wine, and beer in a setting that feels easy to settle into.

Neil’s Bake Shoppe, Siam Paragon

A long-loved Bangkok staple for pastries and cakes, Neil’s Bake Shoppe has returned to the Siam area with a new outpost on the ground floor of Siam Paragon’s north zone.

Part of the iconic Neil’s Tavern, the bake shoppe has been serving its signature bakes since 1983, making this opening feel like a homecoming of sorts, especially for those who remember its original Siam Square days.

Do not leave without trying their signature Praline cake, a chocolate chiffon layered with praline buttercream and finished with crushed praline, rich, familiar, and well worth the indulgence.

Alzuri BKK, Ekkamai

A new lounge has landed in Ekkamai, and Alzuri BKK is building its identity around flavour, music, and community.

The space brings together soul-led comfort food with a global edge, creating a setting that honours the atmosphere of a dining spot and a late-night hangout.

Expect dishes like Cajun shrimp with creamy grits, rich, hearty, and made to satisfy, alongside a soundtrack that moves from smooth R&B to iconic hip-hop and timeless soul. It is the kind of spot where the energy builds gradually, starting with dinner and easing into a full night out without needing to change locations.

Restaurant Silo

There is a certain je ne sais quoi about the smoky allure of fire that changes the way a meal feels, and Restaurant Silo leans fully into that idea.

Located on Soi Silom 5, the space is anchored by its open-fire kitchen, where the amber flames bring out a deeper, more honest expression of each ingredient.

The focus is on local produce, treated with care and cooked without unnecessary distraction, letting the flavours speak for themselves. Seafood and prime cuts take the cake, arriving with a subtle smokiness that pairs naturally with a glass of wine.

Yumcha at 24BLVD

Landing at 24BLVD in Sukhumvit 24, Yumcha brings a fresh, playful take on dim sum to one of the city’s go-to late-night hangouts.

Their menu draws from Hong Kong traditions while introducing new presentations and flavour combinations. Classic shrimp dumplings, or Har gau, remain a highlight, alongside more inventive creations that keep things interesting.

Beyond dim sum, the offering expands into well-loved Cantonese mains, including the Char siu rice, inspired by the iconic “Sorrowful Rice” from Stephen Chow’s 1996 comedy film The God of Cookery.
