Net-Flicks and Chill June: What to Stream This Month

Streaming picks this June include workplace comedy, thriller, romance, and fantasy.

Looking for your next binge-watch? June is packed with fresh releases across every genre, from laugh-out-loud workplace comedies and sweeping romances to edge-of-your-seat thrillers and dragon-filled fantasy epics. Add these highly anticipated titles to your watchlist before they start streaming.

1. Not Suitable For Work (Disney+)

Disney - Cara Howe

Mindy Kaling returns to her forte, comedy, this June.

After the success of Netflix’s Never Have I Ever (2020–2023), the comedic writer flexes her writing gift with a workplace comedy based around five twenty-somethings navigating work, love, and life in the affluent Murray Hill area of New York City.

Starring some new faces and some familiar faces like Avantika (Mean Girls (2024)) and Constance Wu, the show promises to be a cornucopia of laughter.

Release: June 2

2. Cape Fear (Apple TV+)

Apple’s streaming catalog is shaping up to be an underrated force in today’s streaming environment.

Coming this June is the Martin Scorsese-Steven Spielberg produced Cape Fear.

Starring Javier Bardem, Amy Adams, and Patrick Wilson, the 10-episode show is based on the 1991 film of the same name (also directed by Scorsese).

Bardem promises a layered and nightmarish performance as ex-convict Max Cady. Will it live up to Robert De Niro’s Academy Award-nominated performance? Tune in to find out.

Release: June 5

3. Every Year After (Prime Video)

From the production houses of Amazon Prime Video comes another romance novel adaptation.

Carley Fortune’s Every Summer After turns into Every Year After, starring Sadie Soverall, Matt Cornett, and Michael Bradway.

Missing your fix of The Summer I Turned Pretty (2022–2025)? Every Year After could be your cure!

Centred in a sleepy lake town, the show will follow Sadie Soverall, who plays Percy Fraser, as she spends her summers with the Florek brothers next door. Which one will she fall for?

Release: June 10

4. House Of The Dragon Season 3 (HBO Max)

Dust off those robes and book some dragon-riding lessons because the world of Westeros returns this June, and not a moment too soon.

We abandoned the House Targaryen at a most crucial moment, leaving fans and casual watchers alike with their hearts in their throats.

Whether you are a diehard Game Of Thrones (2011–2019) fan or simply a Matt Smith (or Olivia Cooke!) aficionado, it is no secret that a season of high-stakes, bloodshed, and, yes, dragons awaits.

Release: June 21
