From Bollywood to Bellagio: Lake Como’s Grand Hotel Tremezzo Celebrates 115 Years of Luxury

Grand Hotel Tremezzo celebrated two prestigious milestone dates this year, including the property’s 115th anniversary and the 50th anniversary of the De Santis family ownership - a tribute to the commitment, shared passion and deep appreciation the family has held for Grand Hotel Tremezzo over the years. 

Grand Hotel Tremezzo’s T Spa continues to set the standard for wellbeing on Lake Como, with its serene atmosphere, exceptional treatments and breathtaking lakefront setting. This year, T Spa’s indoor swimming pool will debut a new look, enhancing its elegant design while preserving its uninterrupted 180° panoramic views, inviting guests to fully immerse themselves in the beauty of the lake.

Complementing its new appearance are a myriad of enhanced wellness offerings, including Woga (yoga on the outdoor Water on the Water heated swimming pool). Starting from April 15th, guests will be offered a complimentary yoga class hosted by Grand Hotel Tremezzo’s expert yoga instructor aboard the WoW swimming pool. Classes will be hosted three days a week by the pool, or in case of inclement weather, atop the T Fitness top floor fitness space, boasting magnificent lake views.

Guests seeking restoration can indulge in T Spa’s signature Lake Como Sleep Ritual. Drawing on the natural properties of local botanicals growing on the lake's shores, the experience combines exfoliation with everlasting flowers, sage, and mint, followed by a deeply soothing lavender massage designed to relieve tension and promote restful sleep. Those seeking utter solace can venture to the private spa suite with its private sauna, whirlpool and steam bath.

This season, Grand Hotel Tremezzo and Villa Sola Cabiati are excited to unveil a new capsule collection dedicated to Villa Sola Cabiati. The collection will feature fragrance and fashion pieces inspired by the timeless beauty of the historic residence and will be available on Sense of Lake online and in-hotel boutique T Shop. Created by Grand Hotel Tremezzo’s Owner, Valentina De Santis, Sense of Lake houses exclusive lifestyle collections across luxury accessories, clothing and homeware offering guests a unique way to take a piece of Lake Como’s allure home once their stay has come to an end.

Signed by Chris-Craft, American manufacturer of luxury boats since 1874, these classic beauties feature stunning woodwork and a jaunty navy-and-red nautical design. Cruising on the Pupas is an ideal way to experience Lake Como’s signature charms and feel a part of its rarified history. One great figure of this history was the lady affectionately known as “Pupa”, a beloved member of the Grand Hotel’s founding family.
