One of the most unexpected collaborations of the year!

Singer and Disney channel alum Demi Lovato invited spiritual leader Sadhguru to be the guest on their latest episode of their podcast, 4D with Demi Lovato. In the lead up to the episode airing, Demi said in an Instagram post that they would be speaking to “Sadhguru: a yogi, mystic, and visionary whose words of wisdom can help us build a conscious planet. Join me this week on #4DwithDemi as we discuss expanding consciousness, his spiritual journey and much more!”

During the talk, the duo discussed a range of interesting topics including the ins-and-outs of building a conscious planet, the guru’s fascination with motorcycles, and whether or not alien life exists beyond this planet. They also spoke about Sadhguru’s various goals as a mystic, which he explains is to make an impact on the world as a whole. He says, “I want to touch the world. People tell me I have touched a billion people. But the world’s population is now eight billion. I will die a failure, but a blissful failure.”

About the conversation, many netizens took to Twitter to express their excitement about the collaboration. However, many were also confused about what these two individuals could possibly have in common. For example, one user tweeted “Demi Lovato and Sadhguru kya bakwaas hai,” whereas another said, “This is a funny one. Sadhguru is just so laidback and Demi, well Demi just completely resonates with his mindset because they’re also just living and loving life now for whichever way they choose to experience it. That’s growth.”

This is not the first time Sadhguru has sat down with celebrities. In 2020, he visited Will Smith at his family home where he spoke to the star and his daughter Willow in an exclusive video. The conversation was a pit stop on a long journey that the spiritual guru was embarking on across America on his motorbike.
