Netflix’s latest romantic comedy stars Life of Pi (2012) actor Suraj Sharma as Ravi, an MIT genius taking a break, and Pallavi Sharda as Asha, an ambitious workaholic. In an effort to find Asha a groom, her mom creates an online dating profile for her. Asha agrees to go on one date with Ravi to get her mom to take down the profile. After meeting, Asha and Ravi come to an arrangement to fake date for a few weddings to appease their parents, but in a classic rom-com twist, this soon leads to very real emotions. For the hopeless romantics among us, you’re not going to want to miss this one!

Bombay’s best matchmaker, Sima Taparia, makes a return in the second season of Indian Matchmaking! Sima Aunty will help demanding millennials, both new and old, fi nd their one true match by honouring traditional methods. The latest season will feature eight hour-long episodes of desi singletons navigating these arranged relationships with the hopes of happily-ever-after in the form of marriage. “It’s a joy to share my work with audiences around the world,” Sima Aunty once said, and we’re sure that this season will bring us just as much joy.

Inspired by Penny Marshall’s film with the same name, A League of Their Own expands the original into a comedy-drama series focusing on an entirely different baseball team. The series takes place during WW2, when the first female baseball team was formed while men were drafted into the war. Produced by Amazon studios and Sony Pictures Television in association with Field Trip Productions, the show aims to convey the stories “of an entire generation of women who dreamed of playing professional baseball,” and is sure to hit a homerun with sports fanatics.
Release date: 12th August

Marvel Studio’s latest series features an attorney, Jennifer Walters, played by Tatiana Maslany, who is the face of superhuman legal cases. She also happens to be an incredibly powerful, almost-seven-foot-tall green Hulk. As Jennifer struggles with her new abilities while trying to navigate a highly demanding career, her cousin Hulk, played by the beloved and humorous Mark Ruffalo, comes to the rescue as she finds her balance. The series promises to be an entertaining courtroom drama with a superhero twist.
