Awakening Bangkok is back! On until the 3rd of this month and hosted by TimeOut, the lighting and art festival will illuminate Bangkok’s Old Town, particularly the neighbourhoods of Charoenkrung, Talad Noi, and Soi Nana in Chinatown. This year, artists worked with the theme RE:VIVE to create eye-popping pieces that bring a unique energy to these areas after dark. With 52 showcases, there’s plenty to see so don’t miss it. The Big Bad Wolf Book Sale returns to Bangkok! Running until the 3rd, the fair will feature over a million new books available at unbelievable discounts (between 50 percent and 95 percent). To raise funds for underprivileged breast cancer patients at the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer (QSCBC), the Pink Ladies are celebrating Songkran with a get-together at Rembrandt Hotel & Suites. Taking place poolside, the fundraiser will include high tea, happy hour, snacks, an international buffet, as well live music from a DJ.

Today and tomorrow, HERE are collaborating with Charmgang and Siam Bharat Electric for an exciting pop up (dinner and brunch slots available). The experience promises a one-of-a-kind Thai-Indian curry mashup complemented by plenty of funky live tunes. On the menu are a plethora of bite-sized delicacies, delicious curries, desserts, and much more.

Organised by Amora Pasricha and Anna Dyatchina, Conscious Chill is a wellness event taking place aboard the Bangkok Island, a repurposed ship and beach club docked on the Chao Phraya River. The full day will include wellness workshops encompassing art therapy, journalling, sound healing and more; a market full of organic goods; and plenty of great music. Should you want to participate in a workshop, tickets are now available.

17 | Sunday

To celebrate Songkran, Charcoal Tandoor Grill & Mixology will be hosting an all-you-can-eat Songkran Sunday Brunch replete with signature delicacies, such as Charcoal’s eminently popular kebabs and Dum biryani; a wide range of international favourites; and live stations. To get guests in the festive spirit, the brunch will also feature buy-one-get-one cocktails and mocktails all afternoon, and a free-flow Prosecco option will also be available for those who want to add extra sparkle to their celebrations.

18 | Monday

From today until the 24th of this month, Fashion Revolution Week will be taking place across the city. With the aim to call for a safer, cleaner, and fairer fashion industry, the week will see several events, workshops, and pop ups. Not much has been revealed yet in regards to activities, but a full schedule will be released soon. On the last day of the week, there will also be a largescale clothes swap to promote sustainability.
