New Java, Eatery, Hangout, and Experience in the Month of June

New Cafés, Eats, Wellness & Experiences

Grace Clarke

Bangkok never stays still for long, and this month brings a fresh mix of places worth adding to your radar. From a pickleball café serving post-match refreshments and a new shawarma destination in Asoke to a wellness retreat designed for urban reset and a skincare studio focused on self-care, these latest openings offer new ways to eat, unwind, and recharge across the city.

New Java - PICKLEBOY Coffee & Burger

PICKLEBOY Coffee & Burger taps into two obsessions at once: pickleball and iced drinks. Located right by the courts at Backyard Pickleball in Udomsuk 51, the café has become an easy hangout spot for post-game burgers, matcha breaks, and coffee-led catch-ups.

The vibe feels sporty in theory, but realistically, most of us are there for the drinks, snacks, and courtside people-watching. So, even if sports are not your thing, it is no pickle, the atmosphere makes staying awhile feel simple.

New Eatery - Shawarma Bros

Located in Asoke on Sukhumvit 21, Shawarma Bros. sports Middle Eastern street food with a modern edge. Built around freshly sliced chicken, lamb, and falafel, the menu moves between classic dishes and protein-packed offerings designed for the city’s movers and shakers.

Swing by for a selection of Shawarma pita and wraps, to protein-packed Shawarma bowls and Power Plates, free of sugar but big on flavour. Proof that quick meals do not have to taste rushed.

New Hangout - Peaceful Day

After a week of elbow grease, there is no better way to launch your weekend than a little bit of R&R. Because, realistically, our screen time reports and stress levels have both been looking slightly concerning lately.

Sometimes we need somewhere that forces us to log off mentally for an hour. Peaceful Day in Sukhumvit 62 provides such, in a backyard environment with ice baths and meditation.

The space is equipped with wooden ice baths, outdoor showers, and corners for meditation amidst greenery, offering a refreshing pocket of breath amidst the city’s hustle and bustle.

New Experience - mysknn by SKNN Clinic Bangkok

Between Bangkok’s heat, polluted air, random rain showers, and the general chaos of city life, our skin has honestly been through enough lately. Which is probably why spots like mysknn by SKNN Clinic Bangkok are starting to feel less like a necessity.

Tucked inside House Lagom on Sukhumvit 20, the space feels calming, with a “slow down, glow up, repeat” philosophy that carries through their offerings of soothing skin treatments, facial and laser hair removal, and Japanese- and Korean-inspired rituals designed to refresh both skin and mood.
