Baan Phraya

A stalwart in luxury hospitality, the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok brings a refreshed concept to its landmark Thai restaurant, Baan Phraya.

With the feel of a preserved historic residence with its teakwood structure, intricate fretwork, and detailing from the reign of King Rama V, Baan Phraya has reopened as a dining room that looks to the present while paying respect to its past as Thailand's first Thai Cooking School.

Under the direction of Chef Phatchara "Pom" Pirapak, the restaurant revives regional and royal recipes with a contemporary spin.

Curry Up

Created by Japanese street fashion tycoon NIGO, Curry Up is the perfect blend of street fashion and Indian flavours. Quite an interesting combination, right?

To accompany the grand opening of the highly popular streetwear and lifestyle brand, HUMAN MADE, Curry Up has opened its first store on the second level of Central Embassy.

Whether you are stopping by for the delicious aroma of Indian spices or window shopping for shirts, caps, or acrylic key chains, the atmosphere at Curry Up invites you to take a seat.

Jakawaan

Based on Sukhumvit Road 55, between Thonglor Soi 9 and 11, Jakawaan is led by food stylist and food designer Vipittichak "Nick" Pitthayanot and follows a concept that lends itself well to traditional Thai dining, including dishes that have become increasingly difficult to try.

When arriving at Jakawaan, you have the option of trying the set menu, which includes four appetisers, several main dishes, and desserts, or ordering à la carte.

Advance booking is recommended and can be done either through the restaurant's LINE or Instagram page.

La Petite Maison Pop-Up

La Petite Maison, also known as LPM, the French-Mediterranean restaurant from London, is arriving in Bangkok at the Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel.

LPM is best known for bringing the luxurious essence of Côte d'Azur to its locations in London, Dubai, Hong Kong, Mykonos, and now Bangkok.

The pop-up will run from 1 June to 31 July and will be housed at the Biscotti Restaurant.

With Mediterranean ingredients, a friendly service style, and airy dining rooms, this is the perfect place to swing by for lunch, dinner, or just drinks.

Luke Bangkok

Italian-style dining never goes out of style. In Hua Lamphong, a new Italian all-day dining restaurant has come to life.

Luke Bangkok makes quite a statement with its revamped colonial-style exterior. Splashes of red surround the interior, from the warm lighting to the diner-style sofa seating.

Off the Map

Bangkok's nightlife scene is constantly evolving. Whether that is tapas or listening rooms, there is something for everyone in this city.

Off the Map in Thong Lo is the latest offering for those who love a late night and dancing until the soles of their shoes come off.

The music is what you notice first. A lively mix of trap, bass, and hip-hop immediately sets the tone.

Located beside the Pullman Hotel G in Silom, ThaiCoon, opened by chef and restaurateur Thomthanut "Buddy" Hatayadom and Chef Wai of Rasik Local Kitchen in Chiang Mai, offers a simple dining philosophy: "Real Thai. No Rules."

Currently in its soft opening launch, ThaiCoon's dishes range from several seafood options to familiar curries, all served in a familiar Thai style.

Even their signature cocktails (of which there are eight) call back to memories of Thailand, from the titular Thaicoon to the Pla hang tangmo.

TAANG — Caravan, Table, & Wine

Perched on the second floor of Erawan Bangkok comes a chef's table from Chef Kongwuth "Kong" Chaiwongkajorn exhibiting the cuisine of Northern Thailand.

Experience food through a new perspective, from the people of Lanna to the dishes which define the north today.

At TAANG, the beverage menu is not an afterthought but rather part of the experience, reflecting on how wine and drinking culture travels alongside the menu.

TAANG seats 12 people at a time, Monday through Wednesday at 6:30 PM, so booking in advance is recommended.

EmSphere's latest boutique is much more than the brands they bring in.

LAY Bangkok began from LAYOVER, the store's footwear store which held brands like New Balance, ASICS, KEEN, Mizuno, amongst others.
