ITCC APPOINTS NEW EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE FOR 2025–2027 TERM

The India-Thai Chamber of Commerce (ITCC) successfully held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Executive Committee Elections on 29 April at the ITCC Hall of Excellence. The newly elected committee will serve for the 2025 to 2027 term, introducing a fresh cohort of Executive Directors: Amit Lal Singh, Biren Surendra Parikh, Deepak (Danny) Sajnani, Pawan Kumar Mishra, Karan Singh, Amit Sehgal, Amit Birmiwal, Dr. Nattapon Chawla, Naveen Batwara, Dinesh Agaskar, and Vijay (VJ) Kishnani. This dynamic team is set to bring renewed energy to the Chamber’s mission and drive forward meaningful initiatives for the community.

BOUTIQUE CORPORATION COLLABORATES WITH MARRIOTT INTERNATIONAL

Boutique Corporation Public Company Limited (BC) has entered the luxury hospitality market through a development and management agreement with Marriott International, launching the JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit 24. Scheduled to begin construction in 2026 with a grand opening in 2030, the flagship 5-star property will strategically connect Sukhumvit Soi 24 and 26 near BTS Phrom Phong and EM District. Designed under the theme of “Timeless Luxury,” it will feature premium accommodations, fine dining, conference facilities, a grand ballroom, and a rooftop bar, all supported by Marriott’s global loyalty platform, Marriott Bonvoy.

THAI AIRWAYS EXPANDS INDIA ROUTES AS BANGKOK STRENGTHENS ROLE AS REGIONAL HUB

Thai Airways is increasing flight frequency to India in response to rising demand, with CEO Chai Eamsiri highlighting Bangkok’s growing role as a regional hub. This expansion coincides with a broader fleet boost, including nine new leased aircraft arriving by Q3 2025, enabling more flights to high-potential markets like India. In practical terms, travellers can expect more frequent and convenient connections between Bangkok and cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore. This move reflects Thai Airways’ commitment to capturing growing travel flows and reinforcing its role as Southeast Asia’s pivotal air gateway.

A2D VENTURES INTO INDIA

In partnership with We Founder Circle, Thailand’s A2D Ventures will create a digitally enabled investment bridge between India and Southeast Asia. By leveraging advanced platforms and cross-border deal flow, this will enable founders and investors to tap into broader ecosystems, fulfilling strategic goals laid out by industry leaders and moving toward a more integrated regional startup landscape.
