A treasure trove of excitement and sophisticated surprises awaits at KROMO Bangkok, possessing curated experiences rich in culture, steeped in history, and vibrant as ‘The City of Angels’ itself. Beyond its 306 plush rooms lie hidden gems behind thought-provoking art, culinary splendours, and spaces of solace that awaken all of the senses, embodying the city’s effervescent essence.
Hilton’s first Curio Collection hotel in Thailand, located in Sukhumvit Soi 29, is a 28-storey hotel standing as a living showcase while seamlessly blending art, architecture, and storytelling. KROMO Bangkok, mirroring the capital’s energy and charm, boasts a bold look of intricate designs that bring the "City of Nine Gems" vibe of Bangkok to life.
KROMO Bangkok is situated in Sukhumvit Soi 29, one of Bangkok’s prime locations where the city's most dynamic neighbourhoods can be easily accessed. Phrom Phong and Asok BTS stations, as well as Sukhumvit MRT station, are just a short walk away, while Emporium, EmQuartier, and the EmSphere complex sit nearby for world-class dining and shopping.
This hotel has the kind of vibe where guests can get the best of both worlds. Step out, and you’re in the city’s electrifying atmosphere; step in, and you’re in a peaceful escape thanks to the hotel's colour, texture and lighting. With 306 thoughtfully designed rooms, each created as a serene retreat in soft white, pale pink, and warm wooden textures with premium details, KROMO invites travellers to pause, breathe, and see Bangkok through a new lens.
The name KROMO is derived from the word “chroma”, meaning colour. Celebrating Bangkok’s vibrancy, KROMO weaves traditional Thai motifs into a contemporary design narrative.
The design story of KROMO Bangkok is inspired by Bangkok’s full ceremonial name—“The City of the Nine Gems”—and brought to life through the hotel’s “Cabinet of Wonders” concept. Guests begin their journey in the Arrival Garden, inspired by Garnet, where rich red blossoms stand out against lush greenery.
Next, Moonstone greets them in the ground floor lift hall, its glowing patterns and lighting design reflecting the phases of the moon. On the 10th floor, the Sky Garden Lobby unfolds in the spirit of Emerald, with delicate floating seeds drifting among sculptural clouds and trees. Nearby, Cat’s Eye shapes the Vilah Creative & Social Space through watchful details and playful feline-inspired décor.
On the guest floors, Ruby—long regarded in Vedic tradition as the gem of the sun—becomes the Sunbird, enveloping corridors and rooms in warmth, with feather-patterned carpets and motifs that create calm and privacy.
The story continues at Colette, the French-inspired bistro and bar, where Yellow and Blue Sapphire come alive through suspended, hand-crafted Siamese fighting fish sculptures and shimmering fish-scale textures. High above, on the 28th floor, Zircon crowns the experience at the rooftop pool, where a glowing ceiling reflects across the water—transforming it into a retreat by day and a sparkling stage for Bangkok’s sunsets.
Diamond—derived from the Greek adamas, meaning “invincible”—embodies endurance and clarity, embedded in the façade. As evening falls, a hidden circle radiates, casting its brilliance across the exterior.
Every corner tells a story, each space a discovery. The result is an experience that feels deeply local yet unmistakably global, much like Bangkok itself.
KROMO Bangkok concept goes beyond its striking designs. The hotel’s main purpose is to invite guests to immerse themselves in the art of living well. The spaces are stylish yet welcoming, offering comfort, creativity, and peace all in one place.
Colette offers bistronomy around the clock. It's a stylish, free-spirited dining space inspired by a French traveller’s love affair with Thailand. From morning coffee to late-night cocktails, it’s where good food and great company come together.
Vilah Creative Social Space on the 10th floor is a cosy spot to chill, create, or catch up. It's like a mix of studio and living room with a social vibe, perfect for those who come to think, play, or simply unwind.
Perched above the city, the Rooftop Pool starts the day as a serene escape that transforms from a peaceful morning reflection spot into one of Bangkok’s most intriguing sundowner scenes by dusk. With the skyline stretching in every direction, guests can watch the city’s colours shift from sapphire blue to molten gold.
